Realtime editing
Everyone viewing a worksheet sees the same data, live. When a teammate edits a cell, adds a row, or an automation writes a value, the change appears in your grid within moments — no refresh, no "someone else has this file open." There's nothing to configure; it's how Workbooks works.
Row comments
Expand any row to open its detail panel; the comment threadlives there. Comments keep the discussion attached to the data it's about — "receipt is blurry, re-scan?" belongs on the petty-cash row, not in a chat app where the context evaporates. Comments show the author and time, and you can delete your own.
@Mentions
Type @in a comment and pick a teammate. Mentioned people get a notification that links straight to the row, so "@Sam can you verify this count?" lands in front of Sam with one click back to the exact place. Anyone in your workspace can be mentioned.
The notification bell
- The bell in the top bar shows your unread count and updates in real time — a mention pops in while you're working, without a refresh.
- Each notification links to its source row or comment.
- Mark notifications read individually or all at once.
Attachments
Add an attachment column (see Column types) and rows can carry files — receipts, statements, photos of the till count. Upload from the row detail panel; download any time. Attachment storage counts against your plan's storage allowance (see Plans and limits).
